A pretty page isn't enough: how we'll test each business's space

The DaleLatino team

For the UK's Latin community · 14 July 2026

We want a business to have its own page inside DaleLatino: clear, beautiful and genuinely useful on a phone. But photography and design are only the surface. The real value is the phone number being right, the menu being current, and every button ending up where it promised.

That's why we won't switch everything on at once. Each business will trial only what it needs: presentation, WhatsApp, menu or services, order requests, bookings, events, or external links for tickets and delivery.

One capability, one complete test

A restaurant may need orders and bookings; a hair salon, appointments; a club, a calendar and tickets; a professional, consultations. Each capability will have its own data, permissions, limits — and its own behaviour when something fails.

During the pilot, DaleLatino will not hold or handle money. The business, or an authorised provider, confirms and charges directly. Nor will we say "order confirmed" when all we've done is deliver a request.

A few businesses first, with real data

We'll test with a few businesses and real data first. If you'd like yours to be considered, you can register your interest. Registering doesn't guarantee selection, and nothing is published automatically.

The pilot lives in staging and goes through technical testing, business review and explicit approval before reaching production.
