Privacy policy
Last updated: July 2026
At DaleLatino we treat your data the way we treat our people: with respect. This policy explains, in plain language, what data we collect and why. We comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
DaleLatino (dalelatino.com) is an information and business-pages platform for the Latin American community in the UK. Contact for any data matter: [email protected].
What we collect and why
- Browsing (analytics): we use privacy-friendly analytics, with no cross-site tracking, to understand which content helps most. We never sell your data. Ever.
- If you subscribe to alerts (email or WhatsApp): we keep only your contact details and your preference (for example, your remittance corridor). You can unsubscribe at any time with one click or by leaving the channel.
- If you claim your business listing: we keep the business contact details you give us in order to publish them.
What we do NOT do
- We never ask for or store information about your immigration status.
- We don't share data with authorities unless legally required.
- We don't sell contact lists or personal data.
The Assistant and your documents (when available)
When you run a query or scan a letter with the Assistant, the document is processed only to give you the explanation and deleted after processing— we don't keep your documents without your explicit consent. We'll expand this section when the feature goes live.
Your rights
You can ask us for access, correction or deletion of your data by writing to [email protected]. You can also complain to the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office), the UK regulator.
