DaleLatino starts with the basics: a directory that only says what it knows

DaleLatino was born from a simple question: "where are my people?". The first answer doesn't need to be huge. It needs to be useful and honest. That's why the public version starts as a directory: business name, what it does, area, address and contact channels when we have them.

The initial information comes from public sources and may change. We show no verification badge on these listings, and we ask you to confirm opening hours, services and availability directly with each business before travelling or making a decision.

What's live today and what isn't (updated 18 September 2026)

Live now: if the business is yours, you can claim your listing or register your business using only your email, and anyone can leave a review on a listing. None of it goes live on its own: a member of the team reviews every claim, every registration, every change and every review before it appears on the site.

Not yet for the community: menus, WhatsApp orders and bookings, and pages with photos and galleries. They exist and are tested, but they only switch on for a business once its owner has claimed the listing and added their details. No business has completed that step yet, so you won't see those buttons on any listing today.

That rule matters: a pretty demo is not a service. If something appears as available, it must exist, have someone responsible for it, and keep working even when part of the system fails.

If a phone number, address or trade is out of date, write to hola@dalelatino.com. If the business is yours, you can claim your listing or register your business. Submitting the form publishes nothing automatically: we review it first.

We're starting in Elephant & Castle and we'll learn neighbourhood by neighbourhood. Coverage can grow later; trust has to grow first.
