DaleLatino starts with the basics: a directory that only says what it knows

The DaleLatino team

For the UK's Latin community · 14 July 2026

DaleLatino was born from a simple question: "where are my people?". The first answer doesn't need to be huge. It needs to be useful and honest. That's why the public version starts as a directory: business name, what it does, area, address and contact channels when we have them.

The initial information comes from public sources and may change. We show no verification badge on these listings, and we ask you to confirm opening hours, services and availability directly with each business before travelling or making a decision.

What isn't live yet

Orders, bookings, reviews and full business pages are not part of today's public directory. We're building them in a separate environment, and we won't switch them on for the community until they work end to end with real data and businesses that have agreed to take part.

That separation matters: a pretty demo is not a service. If something appears as available, it must exist, have someone responsible for it, and keep working even when part of the system fails.

Help us correct the map

If a phone number, address or trade is out of date, write to [email protected]. If the business is yours, you can register a correction or your interest in the pilot. Submitting the form publishes nothing automatically: we review it first.

We're starting in Elephant & Castle and we'll learn neighbourhood by neighbourhood. Coverage can grow later; trust has to grow first.

DaleLatino charges nothing to browse the directory and takes no money from orders, bookings or tickets at this stage.
